The author recounts the exploits of this famous flagship of the Royal Navy and the men who served on her up to the fateful afternoon when, in a flat calm and riding at anchor off Southsea, she sank in 15 minutes with the loss of eight to nine hundred lives. He also tells the story of all the diving and salvage operations carried out by John Dean and Colonel Pasley. |
