Hand coloured. Size 41cm x 54cm (16" x 21"). A vessel designed for the company recovering bullion and specie sunk in the British man-of-war Lutine, which went down off the entrance to the Zuyder Zee, on October 9, 1799. The most interesting part of the plant is the submarine tube and working chamber. |
